The challenges faced by companies in commercializing their technologies can be unique. From obtaining capital to identifying new markets, Temple SBDC has created the Technology Commercialization Assistance Program to specifically assist small research and development and technology companies. The program focuses on helping small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Philadelphia, and Delaware counties develop and launch their products.
The Temple SBDC offers consulting and educational seminars to address the issues of concern. Our consultants understand the demands on research and development companies to find development money and partnerships while maintaining their intellectual property rights. Among TCAP’s services are helping with finding funding to support their endeavors, research to identify markets and commercialize products, and planning for strategic growth.
The Center's highly effective educational seminars are specifically designed to aid companies in gaining business knowledge and skills to expand their markets and increase competitiveness. Special seminars are held to address such areas as: Small Business Innovation Research Grants, Angel Investors, and Intellectual Property.
