Growing Your Business with Market Analysis and a Winning Business Plan

The Temple SBDC offers highly effective seminars that help entrepreneurs at every stage of business growth. The Entrepreneurial Success Workshop Series (ESWS) benefits start-up to mature businesses.

Our highly experienced instructors and solid curriculum combine to effectively guide entrepreneurs through the business planning process. The ESWS provides attendees with the tools and information needed to write a professional business plan. Students receive one-on-one attention and professional feedback as they develop their business plans.

Entrepreneurs can continue their learning experience beyond the workshop series by becoming a client at the Temple SBDC. With a draft of their business plan, entrepreneurs receive free one-on-one business consulting.

The 10-week ESWS consists of the following interactive workshops:

  • First Step Pre-Business Seminar
    This information packed, convenient workshop is the first step in starting a new business venture. This seminar covers the following:
  1. Personal issues of being an entrepreneur
  2. How to finance a business
  3. The business planning process
  4. Marketing
  5. Mechanics of starting a business and regulations governing business
  6. Other resources

  • Marketing & Sales
  • Financial Considerations
  • Financial Statements
  • Presenting the Plan

2008 - 2009 Workshop Dates:

All classes meet once a week from 6:00pm-9:00pm

2008 Dates

Series 1: Tuesday, September 2nd – Tuesday, November 4th

Series 2: Thursday, September 11th – Thursday, November 13th

Series 3: Monday, October 6th – Wednesday, December 8th

2009 Dates

Series 4: Thursday, January 8th – Thursday, March 12th

Series 5: Tuesday, January 20th – Tuesday, March 24th

Series 6: Monday, February 2nd– Monday, April 6th

Series 7: Thursday, March 26th – Thursday, May 28th

Series 8: Tuesday, April 7th – Tuesday, June 9th

Series 9: Monday, April 20th – Monday, June 29th

Payment:

  • Flat Fee: $270
  • or Payment Plan: $300 - 3 installments of $100, made on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th night of class.
