Cherrill Wilson

Cherrill Wilson is the Associate Director with the Temple University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to beginning her relationship with Temple as the SBDC Incubator Manager and Business Consultant, Wilson brings to the SBDC team over 20 years of financial service experience in banking and accounting services.  She has worked as an accountant, bank auditor, senior credit analyst, and financial consultant. Over and above her work as an Outreach Business Consultant, Wilson is an Adjunct Professor at Eastern University and founder of her own company, Restoration Consulting Services, which provides financial and business strategies to profit, nonprofit companies and faith-based communities. 

This accomplished businessperson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University, as well as a MBA in Urban Economic Development from Eastern University. Wilson also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary). 

As Associate Director of Consulting, Wilson manages the organization’s consulting staff which includes business consultants, managers and graduate students. She assists the Executive Director in the fulfillment of the SBDC’s goals; one of which is to engage in providing business management consulting, legal, government procurement, environmental, international trade services, marketing, and financial consulting assistance to new and existing businesses.

Wilson believes in providing wholeness to the community by giving back the things she has learned and experienced. In her many roles as a business owner and developer, non-profit manager, and ordained minister, Wilson seeks to empower and benefit the community at large.
