Mobile Computing
We are excited about the way mobile computing is transforming the way teaching and learning occurs at Temple University. Portable computers make “anytime, anywhere” learning possible in a way that standard approaches to education cannot. You become an active agent in the educational process, working with faculty and other students to bring the world to your classroom.
The Fox School has awarded laptop computers to incoming honors freshmen since Fall 1999. As in past years, we will provide the new entering class and the returning sophomores with laptops for their use in Fox School Honors classes during their first two years at Temple.
We will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have about the laptop program. You can contact me at 215-204-5137 or laptop@temple.edu. The Honors Program Director Dr. Jon Scott can be reached at 215-204-7605 or scottjon@temple.edu.
Business Honors Program
The Fox School’s Honors Program is for academically talented undergraduate students. Candidates are considered for the Business Honors Program when they are evaluated for admission to Temple University. The program features smaller class sizes and hand-picked faculty members which creates a smaller community within Fox. Add to this mix the outstanding student group, the Business Honors Student Association, the Business Honors Program makes for an amazing educational experience.
