Temple University Japan (TUJ) is the oldest and largest American university in Japan. Founded in 1982, TUJ has developed into a nationally recognized institution offering an extensive range of educational programs. Temple Japan is proud to be the first foreign institute to gain “official university status” by the Japanese government.
Temple University Japan has a network in Tokyo of executives who have graduated from our Tokyo-based Executive MBA program, as well as dozens of renowned authors and researchers in a wide range of disciplines. They provide a terrific network of support for our IMBA students.
In addition to its core undergraduate program, TUJ offers graduate programs in law, business, and education; an intensive English-language program; continuing education courses; and a corporate education division. TUJ also has the distinction of being the largest foreign university in Japan, with more than 1,700 students and growing.
