Alumni Volunteers
Getting Involved: A Call for Alumni Volunteers
For those of you at a distance, there are still ways for you to stay connected and engaged with the IMBA program. The following is a brief list of ways alumni can lend support to the IMBA. To get involved update your Alumni Profile and tell us what you would like to be engaged with!
- Sharing your experience and post-IMBA exposure to the industry or company where you work as a guest speaker at one of our locations during the academic sequence.
- Mentoring a current IMBA student interested in your particular industry or functional area.
- Serving as a program ambassador to a prospective student from your region by exchanging a few emails and scheduling one phone chat about the IMBA and your experience.
- Referring potential clients for our annual Project in Consulting, where IMBA student teams provide management consulting to small companies that are seeking to enter the US marketplace (we often seek clients from high-tech growth industries and have also had traditional, larger companies with goals to introduce a new product or service).
- Encouraging your classmates to keep in touch with us.
- Participating in our alumni surveys, which are critical to our program for participating in the media ranking publications.
- Sharing news of any awards or promotions you earn, to help inspire our class about their future aspirations, or sharing any particular experiences or best practices about your industry or career.
- Volunteering at one of the World MBA Tour college fairs, to assist The Fox School admissions team in answering questions from a student's perspective.
- Visiting the class in any of our locations if you are coming through town for business or personal travel!
Thank you for your ongoing support!
