Competitions

All participants are invited to prepare in the Innovation Lab , an incubator, technical assistance center and work/lounge space located in 201 Speakman Hall. If you need assistance or reference materials, please just ask!

 

Winners receive publicity in Temple University and, when possible, Philadelphia and home-town media.

 

Winners also receive cash prizes of up to $10,000, with a total financial package valued at $25,000. The tenetative award schedule follows. The exact amount and distribution of awards are determined at each stage by the sponsor support available and the judges for each stage.

Business Plan
Grand Prize: $10,000 cash plus up to an additional $20,000 in kind services

(In kind services may include free incubation space, mentoring, web site design and consultation, consultation with a lawyer and CPA, incorporation in the state of Pennsylvania, etc.)
First Prize per category: $4,000
Second Prize per category: $2,000
