Paris Blog

Bonjour! My name is Katrina Najm and I am a student in the IMBA Paris cohort.  Born and raised in Morristown, N.J., I decided to return to my alma mater, but as a business student. As an undergraduate at Temple University, I majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Business Management, taking classes through the Business Honors Program. Upon graduating in 2005, I worked at MTV Networks, until the fall when I accepted a position in the corporate communications department of Wyndham Worldwide.

In 2007, I started a marketing communications role in the business development department of Realogy Franchise Group, the parent company of six major real estate brands. Please visit my blog to learn more about my experience in Paris and as a student of the IMBA program.

Mumbai Blog

Hello! My name is Jennifer Jacobi and I am a student in the International MBA Mumbai cohort.  Originally from the Pocono Mountain region of Pennsylvania, I graduated from Moravian College with a BA in Political Science and Psychology. After college, I spent two years at Immaculata University in a Clinical Psychology doctoral program.

I began looking into business schools to find a program better suited to my personality and career goals, and Temple's IMBA was a good match. Please visit my blog to read firsthand about my experiences in the IMBA program.

International Trip

Hello. My name is Kyle Mathiot and I am currently enrolled in Temple's Part-time MBA program.  Originally from Lancaster PA, I moved to Philly to get my BS in Information Systems from Drexel University.  After graduating from Drexel, I accepted a job with one of my former co-op employers and began working for CIGNA Corporation.  I spent 7.5 good years at CIGNA before deciding to take my career in a new direction.  Earlier this year I took a role working for a small firm named Turnkey Sports & Entertainment.  My long term career goal is to start my own business, so Turnkey provided a great learning opportunity.  Not only do I have an opportunity to work with professional sports teams, but I am also gaining valuable knowledge about the inner workings of a small entrepreneurial firm.

This desire to start my own business is what led me to Temple.  I am pursuing my MBA with a concentration in Strategic Management so I can learn more about the skills needed to start my own company.  Temple offered a program with a great reputation and a great location for working professionals in Center City.
