Financial Aid
It may seem basic, but the first step in obtaining any graduate student financial aid is to apply. Many graduate students never do, in the belief that they will not be eligible for funds. That mistaken belief becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy: if you don't apply, you won't receive any assistance. Student Financial Services encourage all students to apply for financial aid.
Temple University’s Office of Student Financial Services can assist you with Federal Financial Aid and finacially-related matters. If you have questions regarding financial aid please contact Student Financial Services at www.temple.edu/sfs or e-mail sfs@temple.edu.
Another excellent resource for students is OWLnet. Using the Financial Aid tab, you can see the status of your application and a list of any documents the Student Financial Services office has requested to complete their package. (Please note: OWLnet is being phased out during 2011. It will ultimately be replaced by Self-Service Banner (SSB), as accessed through your TUPortal account.)
