Financial Times NewspaperPHILADELPHIA— Temple University’s Fox School of Business Executive MBA (EMBA) program has been ranked #17 in the U.S. and #54 in the world by Financial Times in its 2009 rankings. This is the eighth consecutive year that Fox’s EMBA program has been ranked by the London-based publication.

“We are pleased that the Financial Times continues to recognize the excellence of our EMBA program,” Fox School Dean M. Moshe Porat said. “Being ranked by this prestigious publication is a testament to the exceptional quality of our students, faculty and staff.”

The overall Financial Times EMBA ranking rated how alumni from the class of 2006 fared in terms of career progression and post-EMBA salaries, among other measures.

“This ranking speaks volumes about the overall strength of our program and the global perspective our faculty and students bring to the program,” said Christine Kiely, assistant dean of MBA and MS programs. “It also shows how satisfied our students are and how much they achieve after graduation.”

In addition, the Financial Times ranked the Fox EMBA program among the top 20 in the U.S. across four categories, including Percentage of Female Students, Work Experience, Career Progress and Salary Today.

“These rankings are excellent news for our stakeholders, particularly our alumni, students and sponsors, as the value of their educational investment continues to increase,” said Valerie Henry, director of the Fox School Executive MBA program.

“An EMBA program is a significant investment, especially in today’s economy,” Kiely added. “We are pleased that the Financial Times has acknowledged what our current students and alumni already know—a Fox EMBA is an excellent investment.”
