Dr. John Deckop

John R. Deckop has taught for over 20 years in the areas of human resource management and business ethics. His teaching honors include being named Temple Universitys MBA Professor of the Year (1998), and he has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. His research interests include the topics of risk and justice in compensation systems, altruism in the workplace, and human resource management ethics. News articles around the country have quoted his research. He has published in numerous academic journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, and Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, among others. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal and Group and Organization Management.
