Dr. Stanley K. Ridgley

Stanley K. Ridgley holds a Doctorate and Masters in International Relations from Duke University and an International MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management, with a focus on Russian Business Culture. He has also studied at Moscow State University and the Institut de Gestion Sociale in Paris. He has traveled extensively in Russia researching Russian Culture and Business and has lectured widely in Russia – in Izhevsk, Ufa, Moscow, Sterlitimak, and Perm – on American Foreign Policy, Constructing Civil Society, and the Importance of Infrastructure to Economy-Building.

Dr. Ridgley teaches Global Strategic Management, International Business, Business Policy, and Globalization courses. Dr. Ridgley has been published in the foreign policy journal ORBIS, the Texas Education Review, the Intercollegiate Review, and in popular newspapers and magazines. His current research interests are the influence of political culture on Russian domestic business, and the evolution of Russian business culture and management.

Dr. Ridgley is a former Military Intelligence Officer and Russian Linguist. During the Cold War, he served five years in West Berlin and near the Czech-German border.
