Dr. Pred earned his Ph.D. (applied social psychology) from the University of Texas at Austin, and M.A. (industrial/organizational psychology) from Bowling Green State of Ohio. Formerly a marketing research analyst, he then joined the Fox School where he teaches undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA courses. He has conducted teaching effectiveness workshops for Templeâs Teaching and Learning Center since its inception in 2002. Dr. Pred was twice awarded Fox School Business Honors Teacher of the Year (2003, 2004). His publications have appeared in Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, among others. He also taught at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels as visiting professor at Franklin & Marshall College, University of Pennsylvania, and West Chester University. Dr. Pred writes ancillary text materials and serves as editorial consultant for McGraw-Hill and Wadsworth publishers.
