Dr. Munir Mandviwalla
Associate Professor & Chair Management Information Systems

Associate Professor Munir Mandviwalla, founding chair of the Management Information Systems department, and Executive Director, Irwin L. Gross eBusiness Institute, Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University holds a BSc in Systems Engineering from Boston University, a MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, and a Ph.D. in MIS also from Claremont Graduate University. His research interests include collaborative systems, electronic commerce strategy, and the use of prototyping for theory development. Dr. Mandviwalla has published more than 40 articles and his work has been supported by grants of more than $2 Million from NSF, IBM, Microsoft, CIGNA, Advanta, Lotus, and Lilly Endowment. In 2000, IBM selected him for their Faculty Partnership Award. In 2002, The Claremont Graduate University recognized him with their Alumni Hall of Fame award.
