Dr. Jose Plehn-Dujowich has been appointed as an Assistant Professor of Accounting, with a joint appointment in Finance. He joins The Fox School from the Economics Department at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY). Dr. Plehn-Dujowich received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and undergraduate degrees in economics and management science from M.I.T. His research focus is in managerial accounting, corporate finance, agency theory, industrial organization, and entrepreneurship. He has published in the International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Small Business Economics, Economics Letters, Economics Bulletin, and the Review of Economic Dynamics. He also has many papers under review. He has presented in various prestigious national and international conferences, such as the annual meeting of the American Accounting Association. He is a member of the editorial review board for the Journal of Human Capital, and a reviewer for major journals such as the Journal of Political Economy and Review of Economic Studies.
