Tenure Track Faculty Position
The Department of Statistics at Temple University seeks applications
for tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor level or
higher. Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with achievements.
The Statistics Department has 13 full-time, tenure-track/tenured and
6 fulltime, non-tenure-track faculty members. Many are Fellows of ASA,
IMS, and other international societies. Recent publications by its faculty
include articles in top tier academic journals and books through major
publishers. The Department has comprehensive Ph.D. and M.S. programs
in Statistics.
Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Statistics and related fields.
Candidates should have an established record of quality research with
publications in the highest quality, top tier journals in the discipline.
Evidence of excellence in teaching is required. The position is available
starting AY 2012-2013.

The Statistics Department is located in the Fox School of Business and
Management, and teaches a full range of service courses supporting undergraduate
and graduate business degrees and other programs at Temple. Established
in 1918, and with almost 6,500 students and over 170 faculty, the Fox
School is one of the largest and most comprehensive business schools
in the region and the nation. With a number of high-caliber researchers
joining its faculty, the Fox School’s different programs continue
to garner recognitions at national and international levels, and have
