MBA in Marketing
The MBA program structure includes a set of core foundation courses (eight courses), a set of advanced integrative courses (two chosen from a list of quantitative courses and two chosen from a list of qualitative courses), four courses in a major, one elective course outside of the major and one integrative capstone course.
MBA in Marketing-Supply Chain Logistics and Management Specialization
Philadelphia is a hub of supply chain and logistics activity; in order to leverage the environment and provide MBA training for opportunities in the region, the Marketing and Supply Chain Management department now offers a specialization in Supply Chain Logistics and Management. The specialization includesthe following courses: MSOM 5156, MKTG 5106, MKTG 5107 and either MSOM 5107 or MSOM 5108.
MS in Marketing Research
The M.S. in Marketing Research is a research degree. The objective is to train students to do independent research in any facet of the practice of Marketing. To meet this objective, students must develop an understanding of: (1) the practice of marketing management and the role of marketing in the firm; (2) principles of research methodology with particular emphasis on sampling, survey construction, theory of measurement and various approaches to collecting data; and (3) quantitative analysis and interpretation.
MS in Marketing Communications
The M.S. program in Marketing Communications seeks to train students to plan, implement and control marketing communications and promotional programs. To meet this objective, the student must develop an understanding of: (1) the practice of marketing management and the role of marketing in the firm; (2) principles of marketing communications and promotion management, with particular emphasis on communications processes, promotion planning and promotional mix development; and (3) quantitative support available for marketing communications and promotion management.
PhD in Marketing
The mission of the Temple Doctoral program in Marketing should be to prepare students for top-level research careers. Our program is designed to produce students able to perform top-quality substantive research and to prepare students to be competent, up-to-date educators. Our objective is to produce excellent graduates capable of successfully performing in the top research institutions. If your goal is to simply teach in a small regional or local institution, then this program is not for you.
