JD/MBA Program
Program Description
The School of Law and the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University jointly offer a program leading to the conferral of the Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. This joint program, which is open only to Temple law students, enables its graduates to broaden their educational backgrounds and expand their career horizons by pursuing two different courses of study, which compliment each other. After all, the practice of law is a business. As for the business professional, most business decisions have legal implications. Temple University offers law students, an MBA option with a concentration in Legal Studies at the Fox School of Business and Management.
JD/MBA students earn their dual degrees with fewer hours of course work than would be required if the two degrees were earned separately. This is possible because each school accepts some of the other school's credits toward its degree.
The JD/MBA program is a dual degree program. Candidates receive two separate degrees upon graduation - a J.D. from the Law School and an MBA from the Fox School of Business and Management.
