Real Estate Major

Program Overview

The real estate major is designed to provide an educational foundation for students interested in pursuing a career in the business of real estate including real estate investment and financial analysis, corporate real estate and real estate brokerage.

Traditional career paths and professions include real estate financing, residential mortgage lending and loan analysis; real estate investment and development; corporate real estate management; and various aspects of real estate residential brokerage such as sales and property management.

Students interested in real estate are encouraged to participate in the Temple University chapter of the Lambda Alpha International Student Association/Rho Epsilon, the student professional organization. Real estate majors may be eligible for various professional and university financial scholarships as well as job placement and resume assistance.
