Financial Management Association
The Financial Management Association (“FMA”) provides members with finance knowledge and business acumen not available in the classroom. The group also conducts community service activities, finance workshops, publishes a résumé book, and prepares members for employment interviews. Guest speakers, including professionals and alumni in careers such as stockbrokerage, financial planning, banking, and management provide business insights and networking opportunities. Business professionals assist future graduates with internships and employment opportunities. Recent trips included visits to the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Reserve of Philadelphia, Vanguard, and a leadership conference. Based on outstanding accomplishments, FMA International has designated the Temple group as a “Superior Chapter” for each of the past four years, placing them in the top 2% nationally. The faculty advisor has also been named a “Superior Faculty Advisor” for two years in a row.
