When should my student begin to use the services offered by The Center for Student Professional Development?
Because professional development is an ongoing process the CSPD works with students and alumni at all states of the professional development process. We strong encourage first-year students to access our offerings.
What resources are available to support students with professional development?
CSPD offers an array of services, resources and programs, beginning with an online introduction to CSPD services, “On the Go” brochure series, Podcasts, CSPD blog, BA 2101, the online CSPD Blackboard community, Leadership Retreat, Career and Industry Expert Panels, FoxNet online recruiting, Dinner with Strangers program, one-on-one advising and a variety of professional development workshops. The CSPD also works closely with the Fox School Student Professional Organizations (SPO’s) to support and facilitate a wide variety of professional development.
What jobs and internships are posted and available for my student?
CSPD posts jobs and internships on FoxNet, the Fox School’s online recruiting system. Each Fox student is assigned a username and password to access the database. We encourage you to discuss with your son or daughter the specific jobs and internship opportunities posted to the FoxNet system.
What percent of students are employed after graduation? What is the average starting salary?

Can my student receive help from CSPD after graduation?
Yes! The Fox School alumni association, the CSPD and My Owlspace each support alumni professional development. Individual advising sessions are also available.
