Promoting Your Organization at Fox

The Center for Student Professional Development is committed to supporting the recruiting efforts of our employer partners through innovative programming.

Services to our employer partners include:

Posting Jobs & Internships on FoxNet
CSPD will promote, FREE of charge, internships, co-ops or permanent career opportunities to Fox students in our on-line career management system, FoxNet. We will coordinate resume collection and distribution as your internal company process or hiring regulations dictate. You may email complete job descriptions, including application process requirements to our Corporate Relations department.

Coordinating Campus Interviews
On-site interview facilities are available during Spring and Fall recruiting seasons on a first-come, first-served basis. CSPD coordinates the employment postings, manages applications and schedules pre-selected candidates for interviews. Our Corporate Relations department will be happy to coordinate all aspects of your Fox campus interviews.

Arranging Speaking Engagements with any of our 24 Student Professional Organizations (SPO’s) or Faculty
We strongly support students’ participation and leadership in SPO’s as a significant part of their personal and professional development. We encourage students to expand their career/industry awareness, network with fellow students and employers through these organizations. Each major is represented by at least one SPO and many are nationally recognized for excellence.

Hosting Information Sessions
CSPD can market and promote your campus Information Session and coordinate student sign-ups. Fox has designated M, W, F, from 12:00p-12:50p as a free period for students to meet with their SPO’s. On any of those three days, students are available to participate in sessions designed t time to visit campus and share information on your company. For your convenience, we can connect you with catering and assist with all your equipment and space needs.

Planning and Coordinating Networking Events
The Fall Senior Reception and Fox Spring Connection are premium programs all designed by CSPD to help employers identify potential candidates for permanent career positions or internships.

Industry Prep Interviews
To further encourage the professional development of our students, CSPD coordinates Industry Prep (mock) Interviews here on campus in the Spring and Fall. Students not only get to simulate the interview process, but they identify their strengths and areas for improvement based on the employer feedback.

Helping to Create an Internship Program
CSPD encourages internships as a recruiting tool that can help your organization source an immediate pool of productive, enthusiastic staff for your short-term needs and special projects. Internships give you the opportunity to observe students' performance and evaluate them as potential future employees. Internships can be paid or unpaid, full time or part time, requires no long term contracts and can be posted for students at any time.

Special Professional Development Sessions
Employers are encouraged to ask about special opportunities to participate on career panels or industry specific days or weeks designed to engage Fox students in any of the three components making up the CSPD professional development model – Industry/Career Awareness, Personal Development and Impression Management.
