Author of two books and and more than 100 research articles in top tier journals in three disciplines - Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Management Science, Dr. Banker has made seminal contributions to accounting and management science literature. He enjoys the reputation of being one of the most prolific researchers and amongst the most cited scholars in business, according to the Institute for Scientific Information. He has received grants from leading foundations, including the National Science Foundation, and has served as editor for many prestegious academic journals, including The Accounting Review and Management Science. He has lectured at leading universities and executive programs around the world and has won numerous awards for both teaching and research.
