Chair, Joint Information Operations Chair. Professor Buettner is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School's first Information Warfare Systems Engineering class and did his doctoral work at Stanford University in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. He is also a retired naval officer with experience in submarine, surface and aviation operations.
