Alliance of Business Women International (ABWI)
ABWI is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 to encourage and support business women involved or interested in international trade opportunities. Chartered in the West, with executive offices located in California and Illinois, its main purpose is to aid and support future and existing business connections within the group's network, as well as to form a strong national and international infrastructure for future expansion and realization of ABWI goals and objectives.
Alliance of Business Women International is supported by women entrepreneurs, women in corporate America, women in politics and government, women in film, women in agriculture, and women in service-oriented, educational, and cultural sectors. ABWI is a member of the Federation of International Trade Associations.
Athena International
Athena's mentoring process "links" a business with a volunteer panel of advisors recruited from the local community. The panel and business owner work together for one year to meet the specific objectives of the business owner. Business owners learn to network, access capital and implement best practices from these volunteer advisors.
Athena's target market includes women in for-profit, non-profit, business, service, education and other professional positions, contrasted with the more targeted focus of other women's organizations.

Center for Women and Enterprise-Community Entrepreneurs Program
Established in 1995, the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women start and grow their own businesses. CWE is a national leader among women's business development agencies.
CWE's mission is to empower women to become economically self-sufficient

CWE offers education, training, technical assistance, women's business enterprise certification and access to both debt and equity capital to entrepreneurs at every stage of business development. National Association for Female Executives (NAFE)

National Association of Women Business Owners
The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), headquartered in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all types of businesses. The organization currently has over 75 chapters. It is affiliated with Les Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs) represented in 35 countries.
The National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC)
The NWBOC is a national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, established to increase competition for corporate and government contracts through implementation of a pioneering economic development strategy for women business owners.
NWBOC provides a national certification program for women owned and controlled business as an alternative to the multiple state and local certifications required by many public and private sector agencies. Over 100 private and public agencies now accept NWBOC certification.
NWBOC was created in response to needs identified by the Procurement Special Interest Group of NAWBO. The investigation revealed that the public and private sector had not received nor recognized the benefits of contracting with women suppliers. This has prevented purchasers from obtaining the best value in their procurements and it has limited women business owners from penetrating these markets. NWBOC seeks to provide more corporations with the opportunity to better their procurement practices and to women suppliers to opportunity to compete.
National Women's Business Council
The National Women's Business Council is a bi-partisan Federal advisory council created to serve as an independent source of advice and policy recommendations to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues of importance to women business owners.

Women Presidents' Organization (WPO)
The Women Presidents' Organization is an opportunity for top women business owners whose businesses are at the same level to meet and together drive business breakthroughs. Though there are many groups for women, there is little available to support women who have achieved this higher level of business growth.
