Actually there are two different smells associate with terrazzo installation; the wet epoxy and the smell of the dried terrazzo being ground. That's the one I hate the most. But take heart ... terrazzo installation is nearing an end ... proably sometime around October 18. In the spring you will walk right through an opening that is currently closed off into Alter Hall where there are TWO areas on the 1st floor to relax, rest your back, and study ... one in the Atrium, the other into the speactacular Undergrauate Student Lounge.
