About
( Permalink )Alter hall blog spot is A daily/weekly acount of construction progress and other issues related to Alter Hall.
The image at right is an early rendering of Speakman Hall, which was built in 1967. Planning Alter Hall necessitated recreating the process of imagining and planning for Speakman Hall. We found precious few photgraphs from that period. Based on the paucity of documentation surrounding the building of Speakman, we were determined to document EVERYTHING associated with designing, funding, planning, and building Alter Hall, the 200,000 sq ft annex to the current home of the Fox School of Business. This Alter Blog is dedicated to you, the future user or visitor to The New Speakman/Alter Hall Complex. I encourage you to ask questions, offer advice, or just comment on what we have presented on this site.
