What to Expect During /After Winter Break 2006-07
Monday, January 15th, 2007The lot bounded by 13th and Liacouras Walk between Speakman and Montgomery Ave has been cleared. Sewer lines have been relocated and a wall running along the south side of Speakman has been demolished. A new handicap entrance and loading dock has been relocated to the Northwest corner of Speakman Hall. The space is almost ready!
Between now and February excavation of the site will continue … to an additional depth of 7 feet … and shoring will be erected around the perimeter of the site. Sometime in late February or early March the foundation will be poured, and soon after steel will rise as Alter Hall takes shape.
