Business Minor Requirements
The Fox School of Business and Management offers the following minors that allow undergraduate students to take selected business courses to better prepare themselves for their careers after graduation. Interested students should discuss with their home college advisors how the courses in the minor will fit into their overall degree plan.

The Business Minor
- Open to non-business students only
- Quantitatively oriented - provides a good foundation for non-business students to facilitate the transition into an MBA program
- Eight courses * required with a minimum grade of C- in each course (five of these must be taken at Temple University)
- A grade point average of 2.0 in courses in the minor is required as well as a minimum grade of C- in each course
- Submit the Business Minor Declaration form* to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101
Interested students should discuss with their home college advisors how the courses in the minor will fit into their overall degree plan and are strongly encouraged to submit the minor declaration form early in their academic career
- Students who later decide not to complete a declared minor should submit the Minor Rescission Form to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101

The General Business Studies Minor - Must declare within the first 6 credits toward minor at Temple
- Open to non-business students only
- Less quantitative - provides a good foundation of business skills with the flexibility to explore selected areas of interest in business
- Eight courses * required (five of these must be taken at Temple University)
- Selected electives in business chosen from approved list
- Minor must be declared within the first six hours of course work taken toward the minor
- Submit the GBS Minor Declaration Form * to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101
- Honors Students will complete the Honors version of this minor and submit Honors GBS Minor Declaration Form * to the Fox Honors Office in Speakman Hall 101

The Accounting Minor
- Open to business or non-business students
- Twelve courses* required (seven of these, including three departmental, must be taken at Temple University)
- Provides a combination of basic business courses with a specialization in accounting
- A grade point average of 2.0 in courses in the minor is required as well as a minimum grade of C- in each course unless otherwise specified. Submit the Accounting Minor Declaration form* to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101

The Economics Minor
- Open to business or non-business students
- Eleven courses* required (six of these, including two departmental, must be taken at Temple University)
- Provides a basic business foundation with a specialization in economics
- A grade point average of 2.0 in courses in the minor is required as well as a minimum grade of C- in each course unless otherwise specified. Submit the Economics Minor Declaration form* to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101

The E-Marketing Minor
- Open to business or non-business students
- Fourteen courses* required (eight of these, including four departmental, must be taken at Temple University)
- Combines basic business foundation with marketing and management information systems to enhance electronic marketing skills
- A grade point average of 2.0 in courses in the minor is required as well as a minimum grade of C- in each course unless otherwise specified. Submit the E-Marketing Minor Declaration form* to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101

The Entrepreneurship Minor
- Open to business or non-business students
- Eleven courses* required (six of these, including two departmental, must be taken at Temple University)
- Provides the basic business foundation to manage a successful entrepreneurial enterprise
- A grade point average of 2.0 in courses in the minor is required as well as a minimum grade of C- in each course unless otherwise specified. Submit the Entrepreneurship Minor Declaration form* to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101

The Healthcare Management Minor
- Open to business or non-business students
- Three courses* required (all three courses must be taken at Temple University)
- Provides understanding of the business principles underlying healthcare systems
- A grade point average of 2.0 in courses in the minor is required as well as a minimum grade of C- in each course unless otherwise specified. Submit the Healthcare Management Minor Declaration form* to the Fox Advising Office in Speakman Hall 101
